Stage 1A of the redevelopment of the Ipswich Hospital 1A comprised of a new 50-bed mental health unit (MHU), a link bridge between the new MHU and the existing main hospital building, with the subsequent demolition of the existing 44 Bed MHU.
Syncwise worked with the electrical consultants (WSP Australia) in the early stages to design the lighting control system for this project. The system consisted of manual control, dimming, scheduled occupancy control, automatic presence detection, absence detection, and daylight harvesting to dim down the electric lighting in response to daylight admittance.
